James Litwin

James Litwin

James Litwin is Vice President of Construction for Harbor Bay Real Estate Advisors. He is responsible to deliver new development and construction projects for the firm. His work begins after project opportunities are identified and the firm’s objectives for the development are established.

James provides sound technical, budgetary, and schedule guidance to the team. He works under the direction of Mark Bell and is instrumental in developing community support for projects during the city approval processes.

As the tip of the spear for construction, James embraces a higher standard of excellence leading from the front while guiding the design and construction teams toward uncompromising project results.

Prior to Harbor Bay, James held management and senior management positions at several top 25 nationally recognized construction firms. He has managed over $800 million dollars of construction projects in the multifamily, hospitality, senior housing and Fortune 100 corporate office markets. James is a veteran of the United States Air Force.


Pierce Capone

Pierce Capone

Pierce Capone is Chief Estimator and Project Manager at Harbor Bay Real Estate Advisors with over 10 years of construction industry experience. His expertise is in structural and post-tension concrete construction, and Mass timber construction. Some of the notable projects that he was involved in include One University, Amazon Fulfillment Center, and currently INTRO Cleveland. Pierce holds a B.A. form The University of Akron.


Dr. Lameck Onsarigo

Dr. Lameck Onsarigo

Dr. Lameck Onsarigo is an Assistant Professor of Construction Management at Kent State University. His research focus is on new construction technologies that contribute to more sustainable societies including trenchless technology, mass timber, and other green technologies.

He is an associate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT). Dr. Onsarigo earned his PhD. in Technology Management from Indiana State University (Indiana), a Master of Technology Management and a Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University (Ohio), and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from JKUAT (Kenya).


Dr. Anthony Mirando

Dr. Anthony Mirando

Dr. Anthony Mirando is an Associate Professor (NTT) of Construction Management at Kent State University. His research focus in on the intersection of sustainable development and cost in the urban environment. Mass timber, green building certification, incentivization structures, and other sustainability technologies comprise his recent research trends. He is a LEED Accredited Professional-focused in Neighborhood Development, in addition to instructing Sustainability in the Built Environment within the program.

Dr. Mirando earned his Ph.D. in Geography from Kent State University (Ohio), a Master of Science in Management from Colorado State University (Colorado), and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Kent State University (Ohio).


Emily Haldi

Emily Haldi

Emily Haldi is the Vice President of the Construction Management Student Organization at Kent CAED. She is a junior in the Construction Management program with a minor in Business and concentration in Mechanical and Electrical Management. She has participated in UC, ASC, MCAA, ABC and NAHB. She is currently interning with Panzica Construction at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and is a student worker studying the largest mass timber framed building in the country.
